Information We Collect

HTTP Client is designed with privacy as a priority. We do not collect, store on our servers, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact details.
• We do not track which APIs you call or what data your requests contain.
• We do not monitor your browsing history or activity on other websites.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party monitoring tools.

Data Storage

All data generated by the extension — including saved collections, request history, and environment variables — is stored exclusively on your local device using the Chrome Storage API.

This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible by us or any third party. Uninstalling the extension will permanently delete all stored data.

HTTP Requests You Send

The core function of this extension is to send HTTP requests to URLs you provide. These requests are made directly from your browser to the destination server you specify.

We have no visibility into the content, headers, or responses of the requests you make. You are solely responsible for the data you send through the extension.

Third-Party Services

HTTP Client does not use any third-party services or APIs. We do not interact with any payment or licensing providers.

All features are provided locally within the extension, ensuring your data remains private and secure.

Permissions Justification

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

storage — used to save your collections, request history, environment variables, and preferences locally on your device.

sidePanel — used to display the extension in Chrome's side panel for a larger workspace alongside your browser tabs.

host_permissions (<all_urls>) — required to send HTTP requests to any API endpoint you specify. Without this permission, the extension cannot function as an HTTP client.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and reflected in the extension's version updates on the Chrome Web Store.
